So first the school superintendent yanks a book in a middle school book fair because it has "controversial content" and now Squirt’s book fair is cancelled because there are "concerns involving the vendor that supplies the books for these fairs."
Now, mind you, Squirt's school still remains "strong supporters of reading and recognize the importance it plays every day in the education of our students." As long as, you know, it's the right kind of books. We wouldn't want them to be educated about, say, the fact that some boys like to kiss other boys, right? Or that sometimes girls like to kiss other girls?
Fucking cowards.
