I may eventually come back to argue with this piece more but I’ll let it marinate a bit first. This software engineer’s answer to LLMs is that it’s “art” and it’s about “human connection” and states that they just want to be left behind rather than use LLMs. I both disagree and think there will be a very narrow space for this time of “artist” view of creating software.
Fantastic value on talking to people that you strongly disagree with it. Another thing I might like to unpack more at some point.
