Charity Majors has a take on how software is changing that I haven’t seen yet. What is changing and what isn’t changing and, especially, the insight that has had me mostly comfortable with AI — we’ve seen all of this before. AI demands more engineering discipline, not less.

Noah Smith wonders if what he writes matters. I think it’s an interesting question and it highlights something about why I write (mostly to work things out in my head and speak to Squirt) and why he writes — which is to change the world.
Perhaps it has something to do with where I straddle the Stoicism and Skepticism line along with some other philosophies. So Big Think’s Forget Stoicism. Skepticism is the ancient philosophy we need today was quite topical and a great read.
